Commissioned by the Colombian cultural foundation Más Arte Más Acción, for Around a Tree

For the 20th edition of the Edinburgh Art Festival, Around a Tree brought together ecology, botany, and the arts at the Royal Botanic Garden. At the heart of the project was a 6-metre diameter circular table—made from the timber of a diseased Lebanese Cedar and built around a young Portuguese oak—that served as a site for activities. The poster Rout was offered to visitors to the table and an accompanying text, Containers, was read as part of one of the events.
